How Do Clearomizers Work?

Clearomizers are one of the newest and most sought-after บุหรี่ไฟฟ้า on the market. They consist of a transparent plastic or glass tank with an internal heating coil that delivers e-liquid to a wick for vapor production.

Experienced vapers looking to try different e-liquids will find that cartomizers offer more liquid capacity than their smaller counterparts and tend to last longer.

  • E-Liquid

E-Liquid, also referred to as e-juice or vape liquid, is what goes into your clearomizers. It may contain nicotine (optional) and flavorings and, when heated up, forms a vapor aerosol that you inhale.

Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine (VG) are two nearly odorless alcohols commonly used in medicines, cough medicine, suppositories, soap, shampoo, and various foods as a sweetener or thickening agents for alcoholic beverages.

E-liquids come in a wide variety of flavors, making it difficult to determine whether they meet current flavor regulations. For instance, those containing significant amounts of tobacco are generally banned in most countries due to their potential appeal to nonsmoking adolescents and potential conversion to cigarettes.

  • Coil

The coil is part of your clearomizer that heats up and produces vapor from e-liquid. Additionally, it acts as a connection point between the battery and tank assembly.

Some clearomizers feature a rebuildable deck above the wicking material, making it simpler to construct your own coil. Some tanks have long wicks that hang down into the main tank, while others have shorter wicks that you soak manually by tilting the tank and letting liquid seep onto the deck.

Modern clearomizers typically feature a replaceable atomizer coil head that screws into the base and can be replaced when worn out. While more expensive than disposable options, these are much simpler to clean and maintain while offering you more customization options.

  • Wick

Candle wicks can be constructed out of wood, synthetic fibers (like cotton), or both. Their purpose is to absorb liquid wax while burning, allowing the flame to consume it without producing soot or smoke.

Wicks come in an assortment of shapes and sizes. Both long and short varieties exist, typically round or flat.

Many wicks are also curved and decorated for an eye-catching appearance, helping them stand upright during the candle-making process.

  • Battery

The battery generates the electrical current that flows through your clearomizer. It does so through oxidation and reduction, an exchange of electrons between chemical species.

Batteries are constructed from electrochemical cells composed of two metal electrodes and an electrolyte solution. The positive terminal of a battery is known as the cathode, while its negative counterpart is known as the anode.
